Future Voters' Leadership presents 4 Educational Forums: 1-February 24, 2009 YOUTH POLITICS 2-March 10, 2009 ENVIRONMENT 3-March 24, 2009 SCHOOL ISSUES 4-April 07, 2009 TEEN ISSUES These will be held at the Martin Luther King school building, 122 Amsterdam Avenue at West 65th St.-room 569. All Forums are from 4:00-5:30 PM.

Future Voters and Police Athletic League will host the 7th ANNUAL NYC YOUTH CONGRESS on Friday, April 24, 2009. If you are interested in attending please get in touch.

Currently Future Voters are working on our Campaign to enfranchise 16 and 17 year olds in their local communities across New York City.

We are very excited to announce that on April 13 at a news conference,. State and Local politicians announced legislation that would change the public officers law to allow 16 and 17 year olds to serve on Community boards, Educational Boards, and Youth boards with a vote!

Future Voters is also currently working on a new interactive web site that would allow us to bring our campaign to a national level and help young people get a voice in their communities. The new site will be announced very soon!
